The UKTD extend our condolences on the passing of Grandmaster Arthur DeSilva 9th Dan. GM DeSilva was instrumental in the development of Taekwon-Do in the United Kingdom since its introduction to the UK in 1967 and he was a part of that pioneering generation of Instructors. Brothers Alan and Miles Levy were students under GM DeSilva and went on to become Instructors of UKTD President GM Moradoff. The Levy brothers were impeccable technicians demonstrating testimony to the legacy of GM DeSilva. He was a true pillar of Taekwon-Do.
