Seminar and Senior Promotions |

| We are delighted to announce the promotion of Mr Stephen Rooney of the UKTC to 6th Degree and Mr David Bogen, UKTD, to 4th Degree. The gradings were conducted by Master Harkess, 8th Dan Black Belt and renowned International Instructor, who also conducted 2 seminars hosted by the UKTD in London on 20th March 2005. Master Harkess has travelled extensively with the founder of Tae Kwon-Do, General Choi, Hong Hi and assisted him with demonstrating techniques at courses in the UK, Eire, Holland, Germany, Israel, Canada, Malaysia and DPR Korea. He was awarded ITF’s outstanding instructor medal by General Choi and was also a medallist at the ITF world championships in Malaysia. The topics covered included fundamental exercise, patterns, sparring, attack and defence techniques, kicking exercises and new developments in ITF technique. The UKTD would like to thank Master Harkess for the enlightening seminars and look forward to the forthcoming historic International Instructor Course to be conducted by Master Harkess in Scotland UK. |
